APPLICATION

How to use

• Ensure that the surfaces to be sealed are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or old sealant. Use a suitable cleaner if necessary.
• If sealing gaps, ensure they are of appropriate size for the sealant application.
• Hold the sealant gun at a consistent angle and apply the sealant evenly along the joint or gap. Move the gun steadily to create a smooth, continuous bead.
• For larger gaps, you may need to apply the sealant in layers, allowing each layer to cure before applying the next.
• Use a smoothing tool or your finger (dipped in water for easier application) to smooth the sealant bead and ensure good adhesion to the surfaces.
• Clean any excess sealant immediately with a damp cloth or sponge before it cures. Once cured, the sealant can only be removed mechanically.
• Allow the sealant to cure as per the manufacturer's instructions. Full curing time may vary based on environmental conditions, but it typically takes 24 hours for a complete cure.
• Once fully cured, the sealant can be painted over if required. Ensure that the paint is compatible with acrylic sealants.
