Ventilated Cladding of the facade makes a ventilated chamber between the cladding and the external insulation, eliminating condensation problems, eventual thermal bridges, helping to achieve excellent thermal behaviour. A ventilated system can help protect the exterior wall and the insulation. The heating of the air in the ventilated chamber compared to the environment air causes a continuous movement of air, ventilating in the chamber and keeping the insulation dry. This keeps the energy efficiency of the building high and the health of its occupants paramount while at the same time transforming the appearance of the building.

Cedral Wall Cladding are high quality fibre-cement weatherboards (siding) that has the visual appeal of natural timber. As the outermost protection for the external walls of a building, it protects the building from the effects of the sun, rain and snow as well as from heat and cold. Cedral Cladding can enhance the look of the building. They are available as the traditional overlap -- Cedral Lap and as flush cladding -- Cedral Click, depending on the finish you desire. Both systems can be quickly and easily installed with the included accessories.
The smaller dimensions of the planks allow for expansion and contraction due to moisture and temperature changes. Both systems use the ventilated rainscreen principle - air is allowed to flow in at the base of the system, behind the cladding and then out, over the top cladding. This air flow action enables the system to remove moisture and to keep the walls dry, thus creating a more comfortable living environment.
